Our Trusted Mentor -

Ms. Sheela Mammen

Being  a dedicated Mathematics Educator, my journey uniquely bridges analytical precision with a deep‑rooted passion for teaching. With over 8 years of experience in committed teaching and a background in Electrical & Electronics Engineering and early career experience in the high-stakes world of Oil & Gas rig construction, I bring analytical rigor and real-world insight to the session. My teaching criteria centers on using insightful and formative assessment strategies to improve student outcomes. I prefer inclusive and engaging learning experiences that develop critical thinking, confidence, and a genuine love for mathematics.

What began as a personal mission to support my own children’s academic growth soon blossomed into a full-fledged calling. Over the past 8 years, I have guided students across international curricula—IGCSE, GCSE, MYP, A-Levels, and IBDP—helping the majority secure top-tier grades, including consistent A* achievements.

Industries I have been connected with: Oil & Gas, Engineering, and International Education.

My approach blends structure with empathy, tailoring each learning experience to suit the student’s unique strengths and challenges. Whether simplifying abstract concepts or building exam confidence, I foster  a love for Mathematics that extends beyond the textbook. My sessions are known for their clarity, encouragement, and measurable improvement.

With a deep-rooted belief that academic excellence is attainable with the right guidance and mindset, I continue to empower young learners to reach their full potential. Outside of my teaching practice, I remain a lifelong learner myself—constantly evolving my methods to meet the demands of today’s dynamic educational landscape.

A daughter’s Testimonial……..

“Noble efforts of virtue are rooted in the humble beginnings of quiet lessons learned at home”

When I was younger, my mom would always monitor my studies in Math. I was able to score quite well then, but after my 8th grade exams, I ended up skipping 2 grades due to circumstances. I found myself feeling lost after math classes, and was unable to keep up with the syllabus. I started to do poorly in my tests, so I reached out for help. My mother helped me a lot, and guided me whenever I felt lost. She did not spoon feed me, but gave me clear instructions whenever I asked her doubts. Thanks to her guidance, as well as effort from my side, I was able to pass IGCSE Maths with an A*. My mother was also my guide during my IBDP days, and I was able to score a 6 (95%) in my Math AA SL exam, despite not always paying proper attention in class.
